Dr. Tatiana Kalganova, a partner in the ELOQUENCE project from Brunel University of London, continues to shape discussions on trustworthy AI, hallucination assessment, and Green AI through her research and international engagements. Her recent work highlights the challenges of deploying AI systems in business environments, emphasizing the need for faithfulness metrics and scalable, reliable, and environmentally sustainable AI solutions.
As part of Brunel University’s Centre for AI Social and Digital Innovations, Dr. Kalganova recently welcomed a delegation from India’s Knowledge Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Business leaders from various sectors explored AI advancements, particularly in deep learning and Deepseek technologies, and discussed the challenges of implementing AI into business operations. A key topic of interest was faithfulness metrics for hallucination assessment, a critical area of research within ELOQUENCE.
Dr. Kalganova also delivered a keynote speech at ICICT 2025, focusing on faithfulness metrics in large language model (LLM) evaluations. Her presentation, developed in collaboration with Ben Malin, Nikolaos Boulgouris, Stelios Andreadakis, and Sara Alaswad, emphasized the importance of building AI architectures that are trustworthy, scalable, and environmentally responsible.
Through her work in ELOQUENCE, Dr. Kalganova is addressing fundamental questions in AI research: How can we make LLMs more trustworthy? How do we design AI systems that ensure transparency and reliability? By bridging the gap between research and industry needs, her contributions help pave the way for ethical and sustainable AI advancements.
