FBK is a private, non-profit research institution situated in Trento, Italy, and subsidized by the Province of Trento, employing more than 400 researchers. The Center for Augmented Intelligence is participating in the project through the SpeechTek group, which investigates AI-based speech technologies with a specific focus on automatic speech recognition.
The role of the SpeechTek lab in the project is the development of multilingual spoken language understanding solutions targeting in particular low-resourced languages, efficient neural architectures and data-effective training schemes.
