The University of Novi Sad's Faculty of Technical Sciences, comprising 11 departments, with more than 1200 employees, 11000 students, 88 accredited study programs, 124 modern laboratories, 100 international and around 200 nationally funded projects, is the largest faculty in Serbia. The UNS research team possesses extensive knowledge in federated and distributed machine learning and AI-based speech technologies, such as automatic speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS).

UNS will contribute to the research and software development of multimodal federated learning and act as pilot data owner and an experimental use case provider for the Hallo Baby call center use case, already having access to the framework for collecting audio data for medical assistance.

UNS will apply new ideas, concepts, and practices to develop an environment of unstructured dialogues. UNS will enhance MSc and PhD courses in speech processing, machine learning, and natural language processing. UNS will explore new project opportunities, scientific publications, and teaching offers.
