The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is the Spanish national supercomputing facility offering infrastructures and services to national and European scientists in order to generate knowledge and technology for society. BSC provides research and supercomputing services for: computing and engineering; life sciences; earth sciences; and social sciences. The Language Technology Unit researches and produces open-source resources for the languages of Spain, in particular large language models.
BSC will mainly work on adaptation of large language models to new languages and domains, especially in data-scarce scenarios. It will also provide support to integration of the individual components and deployment of the system in an HPC environment.
